It's already nearing the end of 2010

I've been neglecting this blog for months now. Not that I didn't have anything to write about, but ranting here without any interesting points just would just scare my readers away. If I had any readers anyway haha.
So, during the time I left this blog to dust, the world never stopped being a fucked-up place. Which showed what a stupid age this civilization had become. However, I still don't lose hope that this place would be a better place someday for me and my children and generations to come.
But indeed, it's a fucked-up world today. This news reporting of an ex-manager of a fast food restaurant won a case against his employer depicts this clearly. He sued them when he gained weight after working for 4 years at the restaurant and he's blaming them for it. Why would he do that other than trying to make a profit from it and at the same time putting the blame on other people? I mean, of course there're some occupational hazards that might come with the job but you as a human being can do something to minimize it. In his claim he said he was forced to test and eat the food everyday to maintain the quality mandated by the management and this put more pressure on him, which in the end resulted in him putting on more weight. I guess he never heard of living healthy, exercising and maintaining good life balance. It's so much easier to blame other people for our own misfortune.
In China, one of the billionaires, he even was featured on Forbes among wealthiest in China, is still receiving monthly allowance for his housing, which comes to the amount of RM1400 per month. He's a fucking billionaire, for God sake. Imagine what kind of a house you can rent or buy here in Klang Valley with that amount of allowance. Of course not a condo but at least you can live comfortably. And this guy is a fucking billionaire! The only reason he's still getting this allowance is that he was a local boy from Shenzen and got a recognition from the city as "local talented citizen" or something like that. There're more people deserving that subsidy, who can't even have proper meal everyday on their table, and this guy who could have anything he wants in the world, still taking the undeserved subsidy. Well, that's for me and you, this world is never fair.
I've just started to write again on my blog and my first post after months is about how crazy this world is. I'll try to come up with something nicer next time but a once-in-a-while-ugly-truth won't hurt, will it?
